Faculty: Apply by Sep. 15 to be the Coordinator of CState’s Center for Teaching & Learning
The Office of the Provost is seeking applications from interested faculty members to serve as the Coordinator of Cincinnati State’s Center for Teaching & Learning during the 2023-2024 academic year.
Associate Provost Denise Rohr thanked Professor Julee Johns for serving as the CTL Coordinator during the past several years, including providing support for the rapid transition to all-remote learning at the onset of Covid in Spring 2020. Julee will serve as a resource for the new coordinator during Fall Semester 2023.
Any full-time faculty member (tenured or tenure- track) or adjunct faculty member may apply for the CTL Coordinator position. This release-time role will receive 8 units per semester in Fall 2023 and Spring 2024, with Summer 2024 release to be determined.

Dr. Rohr said the ideal candidate will have experience leading professional development activities and organizing varied tasks, and will have skills needed to develop and deploy a directory of educational offerings that support faculty members’ professional development and are available at the College or in the community.
The CTL Coordinator works with the Faculty Senate’s Professional Development Committee as well as an Advisory Council to be formed in collaboration with the Provost’s Office and Faculty Senate.
