I-75 / I-74 Construction Update – July 12-14

Some overnight restrictions are scheduled this week as part of highway construction projects.

• All scheduled work is contingent upon weather.
• To help ensure the safety of construction workers and the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed, and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zones.

Slide Repair Project

• A permanent right lane closure on I-75 South from Mitchell Avenue to just north of Ludlow Avenue is in place for the duration of the project, which is scheduled to be complete by the end of September. 

Mill Creek Expressway Project

Wednesday through Friday, July 12-14:

• Shoulder closures on the ramp from I-74 East to I-75 North each night between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following day.

Wednesday, July 12:

• Closure of the ramp from Hopple Street to I-75 North from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Thursday, July 13.

Wednesday & Thursday, July 12 & 13:

• Double-lane closures on I-75 North and South, between Hopple Street and Mitchell Avenue, from 10 p.m. each night to 5 a.m. the following day.

Thursday, July 13:  

• Closure of Elmore Street, under I-74 between Dirr Street and Colerain Avenue, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday, July 14. Traffic will be detoured via Colerain Avenue and Beekman Street.
