Insurance ID cards have an error in info used for pharmacy benefits; HR provides assistance

Employees who use College-provided health benefits have been informed by email from the College’s Human Resources Office that newly-issued ID cards have an incorrect “Rx Group number” on the card. This number is used by your pharmacy when you fill (or refill) a prescription.

• The message from Benefits Coordinator Dina Henderson includes a phone number you can use if you need to confirm to your pharmacy that you are eligible for prescription benefits.
• The HR Department is working with the College’s benefits broker on a permanent solution.
• The message from HR was sent on Thursday, July 6, to the email address you used when you completed your Open Enrollment process online– so if you used a non-Cincinnati State email address for your benefits Open Enrollment choices, you’ll need to check that account.
