I-75 / I-74 Construction Update – June 13-15

Some daytime and overnight restrictions are scheduled this week as part of highway construction projects.

• All scheduled work is contingent upon weather.
• To help ensure the safety of construction workers and the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed, and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zones.

Mill Creek Expressway Project

Tuesday, June 13:

• Traffic shifts on southbound Spring Grove Avenue and closure of the northbound left-turn lane to Colerain Avenue from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Closure of the westbound I-74 contraflow lane from 8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 14.

Wednesday & Thursday, June 14 & 15:

Single-lane closure of I-74 East, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day. 

Closure of the westbound I-74 contraflow lane from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Once open, closure of the westbound I-74 thru lane.

Short-term (15-minute intervals) full closure of the I-75 South to I-74 West ramp between midnight and 4 a.m.

Friday, June 16:

• Single-lane closure of I-74 East, between Montana Avenue and the bridge over Spring Grove Avenue, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day.  
• Single-lane closure on Elmore Street from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Saturday.
• Single-lane closures on Beekman Street in either direction beginning at 7 p.m., followed by a double-lane closure on northbound Beekman Street beginning at 8 p.m. All restrictions will be lifted by 6 a.m. Saturday.
