The cost of your snacks is going up

Prices are increasing for some snacks and beverages available from campus vending machines and at the Overlook Cafe and Bakery Hill.

Vending machine prices, which have been the same since 2021, will change starting Monday, June 5.

• Bagged snacks that are currently $1 each (such as chips and cookies) will be increasing to $1.25.
• Vending machine pastry items (such as PopTarts and Rice Krispies Treats) will increase from $1.50 to $1.75.
• Beverages currently priced at $1.50 will increase to $1.75 and beverages currently costing $1.85 will increase to $2. Gold Peak Sweet Tea will increase from $2 to $2.25.
• Prices for other beverages that currently cost $2 or more will not change, except for Monster beverages, which will increase from $3 to $3.25 per can.

The timeline for price changes at Bakery Hill and the Overlook will be announced.
