Mt. Healthy seniors celebrated their plans to continue at CState
A group of Mt. Healthy High School graduates who will be attending Cincinnati State in fall participated in a “signing ceremony” on May 17.
CState Accelerate Triage Coordinator Don Pollock and Admissions Representative Bryan Dell led the students in a pledge of commitment to continuing their education as “the first step toward future success.”
The Mt. Healthy students were participants in the “Gear-Up” program facilitated by the Cincinnati Youth Collaborative (CYC).
With assistance from volunteers and corporate partners, CYC helps students in Cincinnati Public Schools, as well as Finneytown, Winton Woods, North College Hill, and Norwood schools, to earn their high school diploma and prepare for college and career success.
CYC offers a full range of youth development services both within and outside of schools.
