Welcome Gerd Christner, new Assistant Director of Facilities

The Facilities Department welcomes Gerd Christner as the new Assistant Director of Buildings, Maintenance & Grounds.

Gerd joined Cincinnati State in April, bringing experience from his role as an Energy & Commissioning Facilities Engineer at the University of Cincinnati, where his responsibilities included project management, planning and design, and energy management, operations, maintenance, and technical management of all mechanical systems.

Gerd and his wife reside in Anderson Township with their youngest daughter, who just graduated from UC.

Gerd says he enjoys “outdoor activities including hiking and walking the dog.”
