Faculty supported students with “Finish Strong” messages

Members of the Cincinnati State AAUP Chapter provided encouragement for students in the closing days of Spring Semester by distributing handwritten notecards and candy to students arriving at the Overlook Cafe.

More than 200 “finish strong” messages prepared by faculty members (and some other helpers) were handed out on April 25, 26, and 27. Along with the personal notecards, students also received a small flyer with information about the AAUP faculty organization.

AAUP Chapter Secretary Meredith Effler, who coordinated the outreach project, said students appreciated the personal messages and extra encouragement from their instructors.
