Press conference on Apr. 28 recognizes first grads of Culinary & Food Science bachelor’s program
Members of the College community are invited to attend a press conference that will recognize the first 10 graduates from Cincinnati State’s Culinary and Food Science bachelor’s degree program.
The press conference takes place Friday, April 28, from 10:30 to 11 a.m. in the Welcome Center (ATLC ground floor).
Cincinnati State President Dr. Monica Posey will be joined by:
- Gary Cates, Senior Vice Chancellor, Ohio Department of Higher Education
- Cecil Thomas, Ohio State Representative
- Grace Yek, Program Chair, Culinary and Food Science
- Students receiving the degree
- Employers hiring the bachelor’s degree graduates
Junior-level classes in the Culinary and Food Science bachelor’s program were first offered in 2021. The program’s graduates are expected to help meet crucial workforce needs in the region’s major food, beverage, and flavor industries.
