During a meeting on April 13 with community leaders from Hamilton and Warren Counties, Congressman Greg Landsman (Ohio First District) recognized President Monica Posey and Cincinnati State’s role in helping to meet regional workforce needs.

Dr. Posey shared some information with the group about Cincinnati State’s workforce development efforts.

The meeting hosted by Congressman Landsman featured Mitch Landrieu, former Mayor of New Orleans and Senior Advisor to the President and Infrastructure Coordinator for the Biden Administration.

Landrieu discussed the Bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and what it means for Southwest Ohio, including federal funding opportunities for everything from roads and bridges to broadband and water systems.
