Common Time on Apr. 17 is JAIDE Diversity Mixer & discussion of bias
All members of the College community are invited to Common Time on Monday, April 17, hosted by Cincinnati State’s JAIDE Council (Justice, Access, Inclusion, Diversity & Equity) and featuring a discussion on understanding and addressing bias.
This in-person event in the Conference Center starts at 2:45 p.m. with music from the Cincy State Band.
The discussion will begin at 3:15 p.m.
- Angelica Kennedy (Office of the President) will present “Understanding Bias,” moderated by Kelly Edmondson (Humanities & Sciences/FYE).
- Jesse Brown (Financial Aid) will MC a panel discussion of how to address bias, with participants Nate Crayton (Advancement), Dina Henderson (Human Resources), Candice “CJ” Jones (Business/Dietetics Technology), Myra Justus (Library), and Eric Svensson (Admissions).
Light refreshments will be available and one lucky participant will receive a $25 gift card!
