Academic Technology Committee offers resources for faculty & staff
Cincinnati State’s Academic Technology Committee (ATC), which includes faculty, staff, and administrators as members, encourages the College community to explore several educational technology resources, including:
ITS Technology Resources Portal: The portal is part of Blackboard’s “Tools and Applications” tab, but you don’t have to be logged into Blackboard to reach the portal. Using the portal’s menu, you can find technology tips, training, and documentation, along with security awareness information and historical data about network outages.
The Office of Online Learning Newsletter Archive: This bi-weekly online publication provides teaching tips, professional development opportunities, information about technology trends, and more.
Academic Technology Committee Meeting Minutes: All members of the College community are invited to peruse the committee’s meeting minutes (going back to the 2014-15 academic year), which are publicly shared via the ATC Teams site. Faculty also can find the minutes in the Faculty Senate’s Blackboard site.
