Suit-Up Day for men is Apr. 12; students can get free ties & career wardrobe advice
Cincinnati State students are invited to a “Men’s Suit Up” on Wednesday, April 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in ATLC First Floor rooms 101 and 102 (near the First Floor Lounge).
The event is part of a project created by Associate of Science student Josh Render, with support and assistance from faculty member Brian Hooten and the Cincinnati State Career Closet, as well as Josh’s project advisor/co-op coordinator Eimee Donbar.
- Students who visit the event can pick up a free tie, learn how to tie it, and get help selecting and styling other professional attire.
- Students also have an opportunity to be measured for a suit and entered into a raffle for one of six suits donated by Jos A Bank Clothiers.
A follow-up event will take place Wednesday, April 19, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (location and event details to be announced), where students dressed in their professional attire will have an opportunity to get a professional headshot photo, and network with members of professional and student organizations.
