Spring clean your surroundings on Apr. 25, Clifton Campus Clean-Up Day
Tuesday, April 25, is Clean-Up Day on Clifton Campus, when employees can remove unwanted paper and E-waste from your work spaces.
- As you make plans for purging the clutter from your office or other work areas, stay tuned for additional information about the exact locations for the shred truck and the E-waste containers on April 25.
- Materials that are collected will be recycled as applicable.
- Clean-Up Day is for College waste only– please don’t bring items from home.
Clean-up activities will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 25, and include:
Paper disposal/Document shredding:
- A shred truck will be parked outside the Main Building to accept paper products that you wish to have shredded.
- Rolling dumpsters will be available in the hallway near the former Mail Room (near the Main Building Dock). You can pick up a dumpster, take it to your work area to load papers, and then roll on over to the shred truck for document disposal.
- Unsure which paper documents need to be retained? Refer to Section 11 of the College Operations Manual (available from the College intranet, in the section “Manuals and Documents”).
E-waste disposal:
- Containers for electronic waste (E-waste) will be available also.
- E-waste includes items such as computers, monitors, other electronic devices, keyboards, light bulbs, batteries, etc.
- If you know you will have a large amount of E-waste and need assistance moving it, please contact Facilities (513-569-1559) prior to Clean-Up Day.
