Celebrate International Women’s Day with a new brew & support Brewing Science students

Local breweries Urban Artifact and Yellow Springs Brewery have united to honor International Women’s Day by creating a collaboration beer, which will be released during a Women’s Day celebration at Urban Artifact (1660 Blue Rock St. in Northside) on Saturday, March 4, from 1 to 5 p.m.

A portion of the beer sales will be donated to a Cincinnati State scholarship fund that supports women who are pursuing a Brewing Science degree.

• The festivities include food, vendors from from than 40 women-owned businesses, and live music– so if you attend you’ll have good time, while also promoting expanded diversity in the brewing industry.
• According to data from the Brewers Association, women and non-binary people make up less than 8% of brewers and 14% of non-brewer production workers in the field.
