Scholarship application deadline is Feb. 15

The deadline for students to apply for Cincinnati State institutional scholarships for the 2023-24 academic year is February 15, 2023.

Faculty and staff members are encouraged to let students know about institutional scholarships by posting a Blackboard announcement and/or sharing the Scholarship flyer (click to download).

• Students applying for scholarships must turn in their 2023-24 FAFSA form (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and submit an online Cincinnati State Institutional Scholarship application at https://cincinnatistate.academicworks.com/users/sign_in.
• Students use their Cincinnati State login to access the online Scholarship Application. 
• The online application form takes about 30 to 40 minutes to complete, but students should get started now so recommendation letters are completed on time also.
  • Students add the name and email address of their references to the online application. 
  • The online system generates an email message to the reference with instructions for submitting a reference letter. The deadline for submitting reference letters is Feb. 15, 2023.

Students who have questions or need help can contact the Financial Aid Office, by calling 513-569-1530, sending an email message to fam@cincinnatistate.edu, or visiting the office in ATLC 105 during in-person service hours (Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).
