Repairs to water damage in ATLC are progressing
Vice President of Administration Steve Morris reports that most repairs to ATLC areas that suffered water damage during Winter Break will be completed before the start of Spring Semester classes next week, and remaining work should not disrupt any classes.
Work scheduled to be completed today, Jan. 13, includes replacing ceiling tiles and repairing drywall in all areas affected by water damage, along with carpet cleaning and some painting.
Work that will continue next week includes installing baseboards in some classrooms and hallways.
(Updated 1-17-23) The Information Technology Services team is continuing assessment and replacement (where needed) of computers that were in rooms affected by water damage. Some computers in ATLC rooms 415 and 419 remain out of service (or not in their permanent location) because of additional repair work scheduled for those rooms, but all other computers, projectors, and other classroom technology equipment are back in service for the start of Spring Semester.
