Common Time on Nov. 14 is a “diversity mixer”– with music!
Common Time on Monday, November 14, is a JAIDE Diversity Mixer, hosted by the Cincinnati State JAIDE (Justice, Access, Inclusion, Diversity & Equity) Council.
All College employees are invited to join the event, which will take place in the Culinary Demonstration Kitchen/Auditorium on the first floor of the ATLC, starting at 3 p.m.
Please use the Culinary Auditorium’s first floor entrance across from the Bookstore, where the newly-formed Cincinnati State Band will be serving up some tunes, and light snacks will be available, too.
- Band members include Frankie Baker, Margaret Breidenbaugh, Cecilia Felix, Angelica Kennedy, Shmu-El Ocho, Samantha Routzon, and Elliott Ruther.
From 3:30 to 4:15 p.m., a panel of Cincinnati State employees will discuss their cultural backgrounds and experiences, and also answer questions from the audience. Panel members are:
- Bryan Dell
- Tom Hale
- Dr. Janice Lockett
- Chief Mike Martinsen
- Michael Tjiong
- Grace Yek
After the panel discussion, stay for the “JAIDE Mixer Connection” game and a chance to win prizes while you connect with the panel members and others.
