Condolences to Julee Johns
Dr. Gary Johns, father of Julee Johns (Professor of Biology and Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning), died on Oct. 16, 2022.
Dr. Johns spent the first half of his career in industry and the second half as a professor at Mount St. Joseph University in the Business Administration Department. He led Students in Free Enterprise (SiFE), a non-profit initiative focused on positive change and becoming socially responsible business leaders. He also started Practical Business Concepts, a consulting firm that offered programs for various groups including Veterans.
His diverse interests that evolved over the years included entertaining, sports, politics, and philanthropy.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 5, from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m., at Xavier University Art Gallery, located in the AB Cohen Center, 658 Musketeer Drive, Cincinnati, 45207. A Masonic Service and the Scottish Rite Ring Ceremony will begin at 10:45 a.m., followed by a private family burial service.
