Farmer’s Market for students on Oct. 20
The Surge Cupboard Food Pantry invites students to a Farmer’s Market on Thursday, October 20, starting at 11 a.m., in the ATLC First Floor Lounge.
Free seasonal fruits and vegetables provided by the Freestore Foodbank will be available to any currently-registered Cincinnati State student.
Distribution continues until 12:30 p.m., or until all produce is gone. (Early arrival is recommended.)
- If you have your own bag for your produce, please bring it, but bags will be provided if needed.
Produce varies from month to month– typical choices include apples, potatoes, carrots, cabbage, onions, and other vegetables.
- About 125 students visited the September Farmer’s Market.
- The last Fall Farmer’s Market will be on November 17.
