Joint Community Campaign 2022 ends Oct. 21; more prize drawings available to donors

The Cincinnati State 2022 Joint Community Campaign pledge drive on behalf of United Way and Community Shares continues until Friday, October 21.

A Joint Campaign Pledge Card was delivered to your campus mailbox, or you can click to download the pledge form.

• Donors who turn in a pledge card before 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 18, will be entered in a drawing for admission for 2 to any regularly scheduled cruise on the Belle of Louisville or the Mary M. Miller Riverboats.
• All donors who pledge before 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 19, will be eligible for the drawing for a 1-day admission ticket to the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame Museum, good for up to 4 visitors.
• The drawing on Thursday, October 20, will provide a $20 gift card for First Watch.
• Look for more information in Wednesday’s Daily News about the prize for Friday’s drawing.
• Karen Magness-Lewe was the winner of the first drawing, for a $25 gift card for Outback Steak House.

The Joint Community Campaign is one of three annual internal giving campaigns at Cincinnati State, along with the Annual Fund Campaign and the ArtsWave campaign.

If it is possible for you to give to the Joint Campaign this year, your one-time gift or continuing pledge via payroll deduction will help provide needed support and assistance for diverse organizations throughout our community.

Cincinnati State President Monica Posey and Cincinnati State Trustee Chairperson George Vincent serve as members of the Executive Committee of the United Way Board of Directors.

You may pledge to one or both organizations, using payroll deduction or by making a one-time gift by check.

• For both United Way and Community Shares pledges, if you wish you may select specific community organizations to be recipients of your donations. (Organizations are listed on page 2 of the pledge form.)

• Return your completed pledge form to Kim Taylor (kim.taylor@cincinnatistate.edu) either by email or by returning the form to the Advancement Office, ATLC Room 337..

• If you are writing a check, send your form and check to Kim Taylor.
