MCI grads are recognized in Bon Appetit’s “best restaurants” issue
Two Cincinnati State alumni of Midwest Culinary Institute programs are included in Bon Appetit‘s “50 Best New Restaurants” for 2022, published in the magazine’s October issue.
Chef Fran Alfaro (2012 graduate) of Mid City Restaurant is lauded for “simple comfort food pleasures” from the “charmingly self-assured” restaurant on Court Street.
Chef Erik Bentz (2015 graduate) of Café Mochiko on Madison Road is recognized for his “ingenious Cincinnati-style ramen” as well as other choices a visitor could “build a whole day in Cincinnati around.”
