Wanna be in the CState band? Now’s your chance…

Several times in the 50+ year history of the College, employees with musical talent have banded together to perform at selected events, providing entertainment and generating good vibes for their colleagues.

Once again, efforts are underway to form a group. Gigs are still being lined up, but the goal for a debut performance is during Common Time on November 14.

Although some have already committed to bringing their melodious skills to campus venues, more instrumentalists are needed– particularly a keyboard player. (And maybe drums, too? The Daily News staff is uncertain because varied individuals associated with this venture have varied visions of what this supergroup will look and sound like.)

A practice session/jam session is scheduled for October 10, so if you want to join the band (or have questions), don’t hesitate to volunteer. Contact Angelica Kennedy (angelica.kennedy@cincinnatistate.edu), and then get ready to make some (pleasant) noise!
