Harrison Campus hosted Career Fair for aviation maintenance students
A Career Fair for Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) students took place on July 12 at the Harrison Campus.
About 70 AMT students attended to learn about job opportunities offered by nearly 30 participating employers, including GE Aviation, Delta Air Lines, Allegiant Air, Kroger, Duncan Aviation, FEAM Aero, and other national and international companies.
Aviation maintenance technology is an “in-demand” career field, with starting salaries up to $75,000 for some associate degree graduates.
Lunch featured two guest speakers: Cincinnati State President Dr. Monica Posey and William Neyer, the mayor of Harrison, Ohio, and the recipient of Cincinnati State’s 2022 Distinguished Alumnus award.
The Cincinnati State Foundation sponsored the event breakfast and lunch. The Cincinnati State Career Center helped organize the Career Fair and provided giveaways for participating students and employers.
