Virtual Forum on June 7 examines faculty role in student success

Many organizations offer online programs that may be of interest to Cincinnati State faculty and other members of the College community.
The Chronicle of Higher Education is offering a free virtual forum, “The Faculty’s Role in Student Success,” on Tuesday, June 7, starting at 2 p.m.
Topics to be discussed include:
- How can faculty be more flexible and understanding of students?
- What resources should institutions provide to faculty, including referrals for academic, emotional, and financial help?
- As debate continues over the relative importance of compassion and rigor, how sustainable is the approach of the faculty as a student support?
