CState was educational sponsor for Junior Achievement event

Cincinnati State served as the Education Sponsor for the Junior Achievement “Inspire to Hire” event held March 9 and 10 at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center.

• The two-day event– intended to get high school and middle school student excited about their future by exploring career opportunities– was attended by about 4,000 students from 43 local schools.
  
   
• The students viewed displays and talked to representatives from 47 area employers and educational partners, including several CState degree programs.
   
• High school juniors and seniors attending the event also had opportunities to set up interviews for jobs with local companies.

Rita Graf, Chief Administrator for Southwest Ohio Tech Prep, said, “Cincinnati State was well represented and everyone did a fantastic job connecting with the  students who attended.”
