Farmer’s Market for students on Mar. 17
A Farmer’s Market for Cincinnati State students will take place Thursday, Mar. 17, starting at 11:30 a.m., in the ATLC First Floor lounge near the fireplace.
Free fruits and vegetables provided by the Freestore Foodbank will be available to any currently-registered Cincinnati State student. Distribution continues until all produce is gone.
- The Farmer’s Market is part of a partnership between Cincinnati State and the Freestore Foodbank.
- For the Farmer’s Market in February, the Freestore Foodbank provided over 1,200 pounds of produce including apples, carrots, onions, potatoes, cabbage, and bags of fresh lettuce and fresh broccoli.
- All produce was distributed in just 55 minutes to nearly 80 students who visited the Farmer’s Market.
The last Farmer’s Market for Spring Semester is scheduled for Apr. 21.
