Happy Pi Day!

March 14 is recognized as “Pi Day” because the date (3.14) resembles the first few numerals of the mathematical constant Pi.

Mathematically, Pi is the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter, which is 3.14159265359…. and can be calculated to infinity, if you wish to.

So celebrate Pi Day in the way you prefer:

• by solving math problems posed by NASA
• or just by eating your favorite sweet or savory pi(e)
