Welcome new managers for College Access Programs
Shelia Bratcher is the new Interim Director for Cincinnati State’s College Access Programs.
Shelia has 20 years of diverse experiences in healthcare and education. She started her professional career as a Surgical Technologist before moving into education.
She has served as a Program Director and Instructor with diverse experiences including managing students and classrooms, and working with accreditation requirements.
Shelia holds a bachelor’s degree from Nyack College (New York) and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. She is currently pursuing a second master’s degree in Health Informatics at the University of Cincinnati.
Shelia says she enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. She believes her life’s purpose is “to help build” and she enjoys being of service to others.
Dr. Stefeni Stallworth is Cincinnati State’s new Program Manager for TRIO Student Support Services.
She joined the College in early February after working as the Director of The BEYOND, a credit recovery and enrichment program at Mount Healthy Senior High School.
Dr. Stallworth has 20 years of experience as an advocate for underserved student populations. Prior to earning her Ph.D. in Educational Studies from the University of Cincinnati, she worked as a Program Manager of the Cincinnati Pride Grant. She also served as a Senior Youth Advocate for the Citizens Committee on Youth.
Previously, Dr. Stallworth was Program Chair of Humanities at Potomac College in Washington, D.C. Her responsibilities also included data analysis and preparing reports for Potomac College’s accreditation renewal process.
Stefeni said she looks forward to serving Cincinnati State students who seek TRIO support.
