Career Center hosted training on Career Coaching
Ten Cincinnati State faculty and staff members completed training workshops on how to be effective career coaches for students.

The half-day workshops on Dec. 15, 16, and 17 focused on creating a standardized approach for career coaching, using techniques like powerful questioning, listening, and creating career insights.
The training was led by Riley O’Grady, CEO/Founder of Valiant, a consulting and training organization focused on career services and workforce development.
Valiant has conducted training for Cincinnati State in the past and also works with Cincinnati State’s Upward Bound program.
