Engineering Tech students visited metal fabrication company

Students in the Welding and Mechanical Engineering Technology programs recently were invited to tour TMF Metal Solutions, a Native American-owned and operated international metal fabrication contractor located in Hamilton, Ohio.

Co-op coordinator Brian Hooten and instructor Zane Decker joined students for the tour.

Brian said TMF Metal Solutions provides expertise in laser cutting, forming, sawing, finishing, welding, hardware insertion, surface treatments, and coatings. Brian added that the company expects to double its workforce within a year to handle increased business demand.

During the tour, students were able to see how new technology has enabled TMF Metal Solutions to offer their customers high-quality products at the greatest value.
