Surge Cupboard receives donations from Medical Assistants professional group
Members of the Southwest Ohio Chapter of Medical Assistants (SWOCMA), seen above, collected donations for the Cincinnati State Surge Cupboard Food Pantry as part of the group’s October meeting activities.
Patricia Christosm chair of the CState Medical Assistant Certificate program, said the in-person meeting at Kenwood Group Health – TriHealth was the professional association’s second non-virtual meeting this year, after nearly two years of virtual-only gatherings.
Patty said SWOCMA members are encouraged to donate to a selected charity each month as part of the group’s mission, which includes “service activities aimed toward improving the health and well-being of the community.”
