Career Center announces Fall services and events
The Cincinnati State Career Center assists prospective and current students with career exploration and planning, job search skills, networking skills, and referrals to employment.
Fall in-person office hours for the Career Center (ATLC 215) are:
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday – 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Tuesday – 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Students can make appointments using their Starfish My Success Network or by calling (513) 569-4242
- Resources for students also are available on the Career Center web page at https://www.cincinnatistate.edu/career-center and on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/CStateCareerCenter
The Career Center can provide in-class presentations, too– call Kelly Harper at (513) 569-4242 to schedule a visit.
The Career Center is happy to welcome two new staff members: Kristine Topmiller and Chyna Williams. Both are Student Services Specialists who will work in the Career Center as well as the Welcome Center.

Employer Information Tables (11 a.m. to 1 p.m., outside the Career Center on the ATLC second floor)
- Tuesday, Sep. 7 – Sharp’s Valet
- Tuesday, Sep. 14 – Journey Home Care
- Monday, Sep. 20 – Mike’s Carwash
- Thursday, Sep. 30 – FedEx Ground
Virtual Programs are offered via Zoom:
- Moving Beyond Undecided (for current or prospective students who are unsure about their career choice) – Wednesday, Sep. 8 at noon and Wednesday, Sep. 15 at 6 p.m.
- Resume Workshop – Friday, Sep. 17 at noon
- Interviewing Workshop – Friday, Sep. 24 at noon
- Students can register for virtual events at https://cincinnatistate-csm.symplicity.com/students using their Cincinnati State login and password.
