Make plans to de-stress in Fall with an in-person or virtual yoga class
If you’re thinking about ways to ensure you take occasional relaxing breaks from the hustle-and-bustle of Fall Semester, consider enrolling in PE 108, Yoga, for some guided practice in stress management.
- The 1-credit Yoga class is offered in the traditional face-to-face version on Monday and Wednesday from 12 to 12:50 p.m.
- However, stimulus funding supported the purchase of recording equipment so yoga classes also can be offered in Live Web format or recorded so you can learn and participate on your own.
“Yoga doesn’t require any special equipment– just a mat or rug,” said Mindy Piles, Program Chair for Exercise Science.
“The relaxation benefits of yoga are phenomenal, and especially needed during these uncertain times,” Mindy said. “Also, our instructor, Anna Ferguson, has a lot of experience providing an enjoyable online experience.”
