Nursing students sponsor blood drive at Hoxworth from July 18-24
Students in the Nursing 202 class this summer are partnering with Hoxworth Blood Center for a “virtual campus blood drive” from July 18 to 24.
All Cincinnati State students, employees, and friends and family members may participate at any of the seven Hoxworth locations.
Hoxworth serves more than 30 hospitals in the tri-state region, and donors of all blood types are needed to assist with lifesaving situations, including people who have undergone severe trauma, complications following childbirth, anemic patients, surgical patients, and cancer patients.
- To donate, first register for an appointment at hoxworth.org or call (513) 451-9010.
- When you register, please use the group code CQD so our Nursing students receive credit.
If you have questions, contact Nursing instructor Lindsey Stewart (lindsey.stewart@cincinnatistate.edu).
