Ignore “phishing” email about passwords

If you received an email message this morning with the subject line “Notification for [your name]” telling you your password is expiring and asking you to click a “keep password” link, please ignore it!

The message is an attempt to compromise College email accounts.

Information Technology Services is in process of removing these “phishing” email messages from College accounts.

“Phishing” is the term used for fraudulent email messages that appear to be from a reputable source but are an attempt to get you to reveal personal information, such as passwords.
