Purge of excess Zoom recordings was successful
The Information Technology Services department and the College-wide Academic Technology Committee appreciate the efforts of those who removed unneeded video recordings from Zoom Cloud Storage prior to June 1.
- The “purge” activities reduced the College’s use of Zoom Cloud Storage from 5.25 TB (terabytes) to 3.1 TB, which is 67% of the College’s maximum storage limit of 4.62 TB.
- As a result, the automatic deletion feature in Zoom will not be activated.
However, faculty members and others who use Zoom Cloud Storage are asked to take appropriate steps, at the end of each semester, to remove unneeded recordings.
