Join the Park clean-up crew on June 5

May 26, 2021

Space is still available for a few more volunteers to join the Celebrating Community Committee in helping to clean up litter and clear out invasive plant species around the Campbell Lake Preserve (10431 Campbell Road, Harrison, OH 45030), on Sat., June 5, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Cincinnati State students, faculty, and staff members (and families or friends of CState students and employees) are welcome to register and join the group for this outdoor, COVID-safe volunteering opportunity.

  • Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

On the event day:

  • Wear your Cincinnati State gear!

  • Plan to arrive a few minutes early to get oriented.

  • The day will start with an overview of the project and the safety protocols from Conservation and Parks Technician Alex Hearing. Then any needed supplies will be distributed.

  • The park will provide water and some water bottles for volunteers, or feel free to bring your own refillable bottle.
