Textbook adoption process to be integrated with Blackboard

Follett’s Cincinnati State Bookstore is excited to announce that the Textbook Adoption process is getting a needed upgrade, through integration of textbook information with Blackboard.

• Faculty members who are “textbook decision makers” in each program/department will have easy access via Blackboard to review, select, and adopt course materials, without the cumbersome spreadsheets or email threads used in the past.
   
• Using Blackboard, faculty will be able to search for up-to-date course materials specific to your field, regardless of print, digital, or OER (open educational resources) format.

The Bookstore will maintain the current approval steps required before books are ordered for a class.

Additional information and process guides will be coming soon to the textbook decision makers for each department.
