Students can request loaner laptops for Summer
Currently more than 200 Cincinnati State students are using laptop computers and/or Wi-Fi hotspots loaned to them by the College, and distribution of loaner equipment will continue in Summer.
- During Spring Semester 2021, 185 laptops and 118 hotspots were distributed to students in response to new requests. Students who had been using College-loaned technology in Fall Semester were able to renew their loan request by completing an eForm.
- The supply of loaner laptops was replenished with an allocation from CARES Act federal stimulus funds.
Students who are registered for Summer Semester classes can use the eForm COVID-19 Student Technology Loaner Program – 2021 to request a laptop or hotspot.
- Students must be logged into MyCState to access the form, and must be registered for Summer classes before submitting the form.
- Students who are using loaned equipment now and are registered for Summer classes can submit the eForm to continue their use of the equipment in Summer.
