Condolences to the family of Marjorie B. Parham

Mrs. Marjorie B. Parham, who served as a member and chair of the Board of Trustees of Cincinnati Technical College from 1973-1976 and was a respected leader in the Greater Cincinnati community throughout her life, passed peacefully at the age of 103 on Apr. 14, 2021.

Mrs. Parham was named publisher emerita of The Cincinnati Herald in 1993 after serving for more than 30 years as owner and publisher.

Mrs. Parham was a business leader, an advocate for the Black community, and a member of numerous boards and organizations. She was recognized as a “Great Living Cincinnatian” in 2007.

Mrs. Parham visited Cincinnati State in 2014 during the College’s 45th anniversary celebration.

Visitation and services will take place Apr. 23 starting at 10 a.m. at Spring Grove Funeral Homes.
