Alumni Career speaker on Apr. 7 is Caren Welborne

The Alumni Career Series hosted by the Cincinnati State Career Center and the Alumni Affairs Office welcomes Caren Welborne for a virtual presentation on Wednesday, Apr. 7, starting at 5 p.m.

Ms. Welborne is a Director of Project Management at Worldwide Clinical Trials in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, where she manages global clinical research studies in rare diseases.

Ms. Welborne earned a Culinary Arts Certificate from Cincinnati State in 2006.

Since then, she has worked as a personal chef in catering support, as a farmers’ market representative for Blue Oven Bakery, and served as as Recorder for the Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association (OEFFA), Southwest Chapter.

Ms. Welborne earned a bachelor of science degree in Biology and Environmental Science from Ashland University (Ohio) and a master of science in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy.
