Revised “Important Dates Chart 2020-21” is posted
An updated “Important Dates Chart” for academic year 2020-2021, prepared by the Office of the Registrar, has been posted on the “Calendars” page of the College website.
To view and download the revised chart, go to https://www.cincinnatistate.edu/academic-calendar.
(The Important Dates Chart is the second PDF on this web page– the first PDF is the Pocket Calendar for 2020-21.)
Changes published in the revised Important Dates Chart include:
- Fall 2020 – drop for 50% refund on full semester classes – deadline was changed to Sep. 10, 2020
- Fall 2020 – No Show processing for full semester classes – date was changed to Sep. 18, 2020
- Spring 2021 – Priority Registration start date changed to Oct. 26, 2020
- Spring 2021 – Open Registration start date changed to Nov. 2, 2020
- Spring 2021 – Deleted the dates for “registration with Instructor Consent required” – as in recent past semesters, students will be allowed to continue registering for classes with open seats during the first week of the semester, without instructor consent
Registrar Jason Moore said students should be able to view Spring 2021 schedule information around Oct. 12; however, this date is subject to change based on the processing of schedule changes.
- Spring Semester 2021 will have a mix of Web, Live Web, and in-person classes that will be similar to the Fall 2020 schedule.
- The Academic Response Team recommended to Provost Hoopes that Spring schedule information should not be released to students until accurate information about class formats has been updated in Colleague.
