Overlook food service returns on Aug. 24 via Kate’s Catering

On Monday, Aug. 24, the Overlook Cafe will reopen, with service provided by Kate’s Catering.

The “Kate” of the catering company is Katelyn Kleist, PCC, a 2014 graduate of Cincinnati State’s Midwest Culinary Institute.

Initially, food service hours in the Overlook will be Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Service hours may expand as Fall Semester continues.

Kate is an American Culinary Federation Certified Culinarian, an American Culinary Federation Personal Certified Chef, and an Introductory Sommelier.

She completed her Cincinnati State education after earning a degree in Business Administration from the University of Kentucky.

Kate’s additional experience in Chaines de Routisseur competitions, years of casual and fine dining catering experience, and a la carte restaurant service allows her to bring a unique set of culinary skills and expertise to her clients.
