Faculty: Survey/discussion of College Key Performance Indicators needs your input
Faculty members, remember that Wednesday, Jan. 16, is the deadlne for providing your input to help establish long-term goals for the College's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Student Success.
The survey to provide input is available at https://goo.gl/forms/HIBQ3RKNpuEfq8z52. The survey will remain open until close-of-business on Jan. 16.
Faculty are encouraged to use this Tableau Data File to inform your thinking about KPI targets for the year 2025.
- You must have Tableau Reader installed on your computer to open the file.
- Click here for instructions on downloading and installing Tableau Reader.

A Listening Session on KPI Goals will take place Friday, Jan. 18, from 3 to 4 p.m., in the Conference Center on Clifton Campus.

Fitness, part 2: Weight Watchers at Work wants to help you make healthy choices
Cincinnati State's "Weight Watchers at Work" group has been providing support for healthy lifestyle changes for seven years, and the current group members are eager to assist others with health and wellness in 2019.
You may be aware that Weight Watchers has re-branded as "WW" to incorporate all forms of wellness-- so you can think of the Cincinnati State group as "Wellness at Work."
The WW group meets every Tuesday at 1 p.m., in ATLC 404, to provide support and accountability for those who want to make better, healthier choices that go "beyond the scale."
Anyone who is interested in learning more about WW can join the group at a weekly meeting, at no cost.
Group member Jackie Norton said WW at Work is a convenient way to work on making healthy changes. "You don't need to worry about finding someone to watch the kids, or trying to squeeze in a meeting between errands on your precious Saturdays. It’s already here where you are!"
She also noted that the WW philosophy is a holistic approach that includes tracking eating and activity, but also addresses mental and behavioral aspects of changing your lifestyle.
Jackie said two members of the Cincinnati State group have lost more than 100 pounds with the WW program.
Jackie said all College employees also are invited to participate in a free webinar on "The WW Experience" on Thursday, Jan. 17, from 2 to 3 p.m. Click here to register.
The webinar includes information about the WW "points system" approach to healthy eating. Jackie said WW added to the "zero points" foods, which now include lean proteins and legumes as well as fruits and vegetables.
Jackie said the new "Freestyle" program, with numerous zero points foods, makes it easier to make healthy choices while on the go.
If you have questions or would like additional information, contact Jackie (firstname.lastname@example.org).
